Malta-based start-up is the latest addition to growing YG Masters roster

Darwin Gaming is the latest partner to join Yggdrasil’s YG Masters program for third-party gaming content creators. As a YG Masters studio, Darwin will develop, deploy and distribute its games using Yggdrasil’s technology and extensive network of operator partners.

The Masters program is powered by Yggdrasil’s ground-breaking Game Adaptation Tools & Interface (GATI) technology. GATI is a preconfigured, regulation-ready development toolkit enabling partners to efficiently create and distribute games globally with Yggdrasil. GATI and Masters is attracting many third-party studios aiming to increase game throughput, reach and ROI.

The news comes as prediction market operators continue to form alliances with major media outlets. These deals allow news outlets to embed event contract data into their reporting and offer prediction platforms more visibility to investors and news audiences. 

Polymarket has developed its media presence elsewhere. In January, it signed a deal with Dow Jones to provide its prediction market data to several of the publisher’s consumer platforms. The deal covers publications including The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, MarketWatch and Investor’s Business Daily.

Prediction markets have become more and more intertwined with sports and entertainment businesses. Polymarket has agreements with Major League Baseball and Sportsradar. Sportsradar provides data and services for more than 20 sports leagues and competitions.

In the late 2000s, we wrote a humor column for the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Titled “Fear and Loafing,” it involved sampling odd jobs around town. One we wanted to try out was working as a personal assistant to a Vegas celebrity.

Every resident headliner up and down the Strip either declined or ignored our request. Most likely, the downside of having a working reporter snoop around their private life outweighed any potential upside.
